LAST STOP UNTIL FALL
Hello again adventurers,
This week marks my last event until the fall. This Saturday, May 30, I'll be
at the first-ever Chattanooga Ren Faire sharing a tent with fellow
fantasy author Leslie Crowne!
This event is shaping up to be huge, on par with some of the larger Ren Faires in the GA/TN area, so definitely come out if you can to indulge in a turkey leg or two,
grab some books, and be merry!
THE SUNDERED SUN UPDATES
In other (excellent) news, I've received my edits from my editor and the first couple of reviews of THE SUNDERED SUN, and the consensus so far is that I've stuck the landing and provided a good ending to my epic fantasy trilogy.
This might be a strange thing to announce and celebrate, but I'm sure we can all point to a few (or several) series that failed to deliver a satisfactory ending. As an author and storyteller, above all else I want to tell a good story. After working on this series for close to 20 years, it makes me incredibly happy to know people have enjoyed the Chronicles of the Second Sun.
If you haven't already gotten your hands on an ARC of THE SUNDERED SUN, the Kickstarter launch date is quickly approaching. You'll be able to order your own copy of the third book, along with the rest of the trilogy and several other goodies, on August 1. I'll be offering sneak peeks of the various goodies in the coming weeks, so stay tuned to this newsletter and my socials.
COMING SOON: INDIE AUTHOR SPOTLIGHT
Something else I'm going to get into with these newsletters is uplifting other indie authors. I'll be featuring one or two books I've read recently. The indie author community is truly a wonderful place to be, with so many amazing people sharing their stories.
